Based in Southend-on-Sea, Courtyard Canines provides fully insured one-to-one dog training to help owners understand why behaviours happen. We are certified trainers and coach owners and their dogs through common challenges such as:

Why Courtyard Canines?
Courtyard Canines grew from my everyday life with my own dog, Yuna. Like many owners, I learned that behaviour has a reason, and that with the right understanding and support, real progress is possible.
I now help other dog owners build calm, practical, real-world skills so they can enjoy life with their dogs with more confidence.

Training Session
Sessions can be in-person, or by video or phone call.
Session Structure
Here's what to expect before, during, and after each training session.
Before each session:
- We'll agree the time, location, and format in writing.
- We advise you review our T&Cs and Privacy Policy.
- Any changes to a session must be done at least 2hrs before it starts.
- Unless otherwise agreed, every session must be paid for before starts.
During each session:
- Each in-person session starts with an assessment (including progress monitoring).
- You can always ask for clarification on any aspect of the training.
- Each session will end with a recap, so everyone is clear on how to progress.
After each session:
- We will provide a summary of the session, with clear guidance on how to progress.
- In-person sessions have a follow-up call the following week to check progress.
